Cyberpunk 2077 will be released by the developer teams CD Project and CD Project RED, a Polish video game developer, publisher and distributer based in Warsaw, Poland. Initially it was set to be released in 17 September 2020 but due to unavoidable circumstances such as the enraging pandemic due to COVID-19, its release date was pushed to 19 November 2020.

Cyberpunk will be available in the following platforms; Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia and Microsoft Windows.

A day ago, Cyberpunk 2077 team livestreamed their game on YouTube and other platforms showcasing new gameplay and in depth details about the game. This really raised the level of anticipation by gamers since it’s going to take next gen graphics to a whole new level.

From its name, it is based in the future and boy this gives me chills when I see its gameplay over and over again. It’s also a First Person game, utilizing all aspects of First Person Shooter games and First Person Role Playing games. Its release trailer really caught everyone’s eyes by just giving us a glimpse of the prologue.

If you easily remember 2019’s Death Stranding by Hideo Kojima which featured Norman Reedus, an actor from the famous series “Walking Dead” as its main protagonist;

Then you’ll really be intrigued that Cyberpunk 2077 announced Keanu Reeves will be among the characters in the game. After his hits with John Wick, he will definitely make Cyberpunk become a superb game worth buying.

One awesome quest in the game is the search for the chip of immortality, a gateway to eternal life. There is a particular gang that was formed in 2076; known as The Mox, it was formed after the death of a certain owner of a brothel and the main motive of the gang is to continue her mission. Within the course of the game, players will be interacting with the gang and craft their own relationship with them.

Badlands

This is a region outside the city, inhabited by nomads, it is a dead dried out space, more of a semi arid area. Being an Open World game, this is an area where players will often come across.

There is also a big metallic dude known as Adam Smasher, a character introduced in pen and paper in Cyberpunk 2020. A fully converted cyborg, he reminds me us of one of the villains in last year’s CGI movie “Alita: Battle Angel”. To find out more about Adam Smasher, we’ll have to play the game.

Ripodox

A category of NPC’s, they are surgeons in the modernized universe of Cyberpunk, they are accustomed and specialized in replacing limbs with metal ones, basically they upgrade and enhance a character’s body into a war machine. As a player, you will meet various kinds of Ripodox

Brain dance (BD)

This is a feature that players will experience when playing Cyberpunk 2077, Brain dance is essentially a recording of somebody else’s experience which allows you to relive their sense of sight, smell, touch and even hearing, thanks to a special device.

In the world of Cyberpunk 2077, Brain Dance was invented way back in the early 2000’s and it was developed as a way of recording a person’s experiences and then playing them back for someone else so that they could relive as though it was happening to them. It was originally used for things like therapy, prisoner rehabilitation but by 2077, it has become the global media industry including things like movies, mass entertainment, video games, some interactive things and of course adult fair as well.

Two weeks ago, Sony announced they were going to release PlayStation 5, seven years after the release of the then famous PlayStation 4. With the title “THE FUTURE OF GAMING”, they showcased upcoming and existing improved games and indeed it was a major upgrade and improvement to the preexisting graphics and games. Various developers gave a brief information about their games before giving us a glimpse. Some of the games showcased with the launch include:

1. Spider-Man: Miles Morales

This is set to be released Holiday 2020, a good upgrade to the previous PlayStation exclusive Spider-Man.

2. Gran Turismo 7

The long awaited PlayStation exclusive racing game after years of domination by Microsoft’s Forza, Xbox had previously taken over the scenes with their amazing game but Sony won’t be left behind when they release Gran Turismo 7 and it will definitely make the challenge better.

3. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart

This really left many gamers itching to land the Ps5 even before its release with some even claiming they could sell their kidneys and organs. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart has perfectly incorporated next gen graphics to a whole new level. The game has a new inter-dimensional adventure to its name, making it different and more interesting than the previous Ratchet and Clank games in the franchise.

4. Project Athia

Not left behind to showcase their prowess in the game development industry, Square Enix announced this amazing PlayStation exclusive game, leaving Xbox gamers in tears.

5. Stray

No one knows much details about Stray but it will basically involve a cat as the game’s protagonist. Stray is set to be released in 2021, more details will be provided later in the year.

6. Returnal

If you’ve watched “BEYOND THE AQUILA RIFT”, an episode from Netflix’s famous series ‘Love Death and Robots’, you will fully understand this next gen game since they almost have the same storyline but of course Returnal will be extremely awesome since it’s a game. It also has an “EDGE OF TOMORROW” type of vibe which makes previous alien games look like crap.

7. Sackboy

A big adventure, looks so sick compared to the previous Sackboy games and it will definitely provide a change from the normal RPG, FPS or Open World games that every gamer usually play.

8. Destruction All Stars

More like an advanced Rocket League with no balls and goal posts, but an upgraded version with actual people in the cars and something awesome about it is that you can even get out of the cars. Destruction All Stars is a pretty interesting game with a lot of amazing combat, both hand to hand and vehicle damage/destruction kind of combat.

9. Kona: A Bridge of Spirits

With a Legend of Zelda type of Vibe, Kona: A Bridge of Spirits has shown that these nextgen graphics are going to be very awesome and breathtaking.

10. Goodbye Volume High

It seems it’s going to have a very awesome storyline as per it’s trailer. Goodbye Volume High is set to be released in 2021 with more details coming in 2020.

11. Oddworld Soulstorm

As per its developers;

It’s an emotionally engaging story where rescuing is rewarding, failure is devastatingly hilarious and the memories should last you a life time

And indeed this game will definitely have these traits.

12. Ghostwire Tokyo

It does not really showcase the expected nextgen graphics and nature of the Ps5 but it’s a fairly interesting game with a lot of potential and a good storyline. It will be due to be released in 2021.

13. Jett: The Far Shore

The video didn’t really show a lot of detail but Jett is going to be an awesome open world game with a pretty large world to navigate and maneuver around. Jett is bound to be released Holiday 2020.

14. Godfall

Now this is what we mean by “Nextgen” graphics. Godfall has a unique combat style as opposed to other games of its kind, games that utilize swords, axes, shields etcetera. It will definitely be a game worth buying and fortunately it will be available Holiday 2020.

15. Solar Ash

With the world currently talking about black holes and space exploration, Solar Ash has definitely made the idea of blackholes more interesting, actually it’s depiction can be said to be at per with Interstellar’s depiction of Black hole. It has an awesome layout and a quite simple gameplay with simple graphics. As expected, it will be released in 2021.

16. Hitman 3

Hitman 2 was a massive hit and Hitman 3 will definitely hit twice as much. It’s trailer left most gamers speechless and indeed it’s going to be an awesome game, better than the previous Hitman versions. This is the only game with a specific release month in 2021, January to be precise.

17. Astro’s Playroom

Not a fan of VR but Astro’s Playroom seems to be slightly good, fortunately another VR game which won’t be mentioned at the moment will take the VR world by storm.

18. Little Devil Inside

PlayStation 5 really makes all games to look awesome and cool, games that I’m sure when played in the PlayStation 4 would seem whack and Little Devil Inside is surely one of those games. It is not that highly anticipated like other games but it will obviously be an amazing game.

19. Resident Evil 8

After two successful remakes; Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 8 follows after the incidences in Resident Evil 7 and boy this is the most anticipated horror game that will come with the Ps5. Gamers obviously can’t wait. It is set to be released in 2021.
